Debit/credit theft - caution using your card at drive through or gas station

A Star Bucks employee stole credit card information from a drive through customer.
Be careful using your debit or credit card at drive through fast food restaurants or at gas stations.
Cards can be copied, photocopied and used at other stores to steal money from your account.

Star Bucks customer gets her revenge.

Wow, very brazen of the cashier to do this. I am surprised that she thought she was going to get away with it. The woman told her that when you went to the back for a minute (with my card), I knew you what you were doing.

I assume all starbucks in the states uses the machine...so i kind of have this feeling this may be staged.

The police have charged the Starbucks employee. The employee was fired.

Toronto Police are investigating debit card thefts from people who used Uber drivers and paid with debit. Their bank accounts were cleaned out. The Uber drivers had a duplicating machine (card copied) and recorded the pin numbers too
