that I had forgotten to consider checking the apartment recycle room, till this evening!! Have been here since Saturday.
First thing I saw when I pushed open the mega heavy door, was stuff..and lots of bins!! Mattrasses bundles up against the one bin..not touching those......lol!! Looked to my left and saw a cute pair of tall rain boots......... made a mental note to go back and check them out.
Pulled open one paper recycle bin, and voila.......
2 cereal boxes -$ 5.50 Kelloggs products and Yoplait FPC..whooot!!
BakeFest Pull out receipe booklet with $8.25c in cpns including Tenderflake, and an elusive BUTTER cpn
Today Parent and Flare magazines -
GLADE wahoo!! I love this stackable cpn
Softsoap
Childrens Tylenol
Walked to the shiny rain boots, Marc Jacobs......hmm......designer boots!!
Put them into the recycle box to take back up to the apartment.
First thing I did was to check them out, size 37, my size.......then pulled on one.........it fit!! Holy cow!! I am in shock now........try on the other boot, and it fits as well!! Clean, new and fit me............ whoot!!
You have no idea what a find that is for me...... I cannot wear traditional fitting boots, my calves have been a huge issue for years, as in too big for any regular boot........right now I have only suede winter boots because I can slouch the boots down, they never fit if I try to pull them up!!!
These boots fit me..........the rain boots I bought last year, were $150 and are zip up......they did fit me tightly, but after putting on so much weight in the past year due to medication changing, these boots now cannot be zipped all the way up. I am in Vancouver for the week to dog sit my daughters dog. I needed rain boots so took my badly fitting rain boots with me as I did not have any others. No budget to buy another pair either!!
I also have been checking the mail box area and have found Mc Cafe coupon booklet, lots of free Xmas tags, SDM bonus point cpn.
Guess who will be going to check the recycle area tomorrow night once again..........lol!!

Lol at Koolaid!!
I would never have taken the boots had I any doubt that someone had not abandoned stuff in the recycle room. There was also a great new looking rug, some other shoes and clothing shoved in the side..........
these buildings are all triple secured, needc a pass key and have to go through 2 secure doors to get inot htat room, with security guards 24 hours, was hoping that he was not watching over me........lol!! Actually he was away from his desk when I went there, i checked first.,,no one was monitoring the TV camera screens. I may be on tape though, /did I remember to smile?? lol!!!!http://www.facebook.com/groups/29636...6361680429066/

Great score on the boots. I found a new pair myself this week at a second hand shop. Medical conditions sure make you appreciate something as small as dry feet.
