    I decided to buy a GoPro Hero, my daughter has the Hero4, but I think this one is perfect for me. I didn't need it, but I have a lot of points and I decided to get one. It was on sale today for $149.99, I saw the same one on Amazon for $259.00!! I get to my little store, they said they didn't receive any, only certain stores got them. I ask the manager if he can call the other SDM's and have one shipped to this SDM. He called about 4 and they were either sold out or didn't get any. Finally he said let me check in the back, he comes out and he has 2!!! When I get to the cash with it, the cashier that told me they didn't get any in asked me how I got it, she said there were at least 4 people early this morning looking for it!! its an underwater camera too, and I like to snorkel, I think it will perfect. Now I just need to figure out how it works!!! I paid with my points and just had to pay the tax!!!

    Nice brag, and excellent find!

    I recently took the plunge into the GoPro world too, and I've been enjoying the camera this far.

    My suggestion is to buy an extra battery and perhaps a charger (shop online for the best deals).
    The batteries don't last too long on these things, so you might want to keep a spare on-charge at all times.

    I assume this is a Hero3 (based on the price) ? -- Just be attentive when you DO buy accessories as the Hero4 batteries, and housings can be different than the Hero3.

    Also, when shopping for memory cards, don't go cheap (budget) brands.
    I would suggest you look at the memory card compatibility list right from GoPro to get your best performance (I had issue with cards NOT on this list).
