two days ago my 18yr old cat stumbled off the couch started vomiting then turned around and couldnt stand i held her up as she finished then put her on the couch.i put her back on the couch she was weak so i let her lay down she seemed disorientated so at first i did not let her sleep but i thought maybe i should just let her go.after sitting and watching her breath talking to vets online and phone i realized there was nothing i could do maybe let her rest she woke up her eyes were twitching back and forth rapidly her neck was crancked like a fish after a child has tapped on the glass for to long
needless to say i was devistated ive had this cat since i was eleven it cant be over we sleep together wake up together pretty much together all the time we have even been homeless together twice so i just held her 2 hrs later round 10pm she woke up her eyes had stopped twitching but she was still weak so i took her to my bed thinking illwake up to my best friend stiff beside me well she awoke got up drank some water ate a ton of food the next day aka today she is back to normal galloping around mouching for food and jumpin on and off anything she pleases i guess i have a bit more time
i should erase this but inve had to many drinks to i always see posts about personal stuuf so i thought id share

Such a lovely cat! I'm glad to hear that she's doing better. Our pets become such important parts of our lives - especially after 18 years! - that it's really tough when anything happens to them.
