HELP!!
My 100lb Rottie mix, Mollie, has been carting around the same toy since she was a puppy. It looks like a giant soother and she puts it in her mouth like a baby. She will share her other toys with the other dogs but not that one. She sleeps with it. She plays fetch with it. One of my kids started calling it her "binky" years ago and it stuck. "Mollie, go get your binky." and she does. She never, ever lets the other dogs touch it. Even putting it in the washing machine causes anxiety. She parks her butt beside the washer and whines.
I don't know what happened yesterday but our puppy got it and wrecked it and there is no saving it. I put it in the garbage. She sat beside the garbage can and cried until bedtime and then she got back up this morning and was back at it again. I dug out other new toys and she doesn't want them. I had hoped she would forget it about it but that doesn't seem to be happening. I bought it at Winners years ago so there is no replacing it.
Has anyone seen a dog toy that looks like a pacifier...anywhere????
The whining is driving me crazy. This thread is currently associated with: Winners

I've never seen one (work at PetValu). Most dog toys go in cycles though and get discontinued after awhile for new things (either by the store or the products company).

It's different than that but that might work. It was an actual stuffed toy. I have gone to one pet store and phoned the rest but I will go see if I can find that. Thank you!

Like this?

walmart.com sells it and I'm sure there are other sources.

ebay have some but it will run you about $15 by the time you are done paying for shipping

If you have a Winners in your area maybe try there too. Sometimes they carry different types of doggie toys

My dogs send Mollie whines & wags. They bark in empathy.

If that's the one you're looking for, I found 2 places that are selling it (in additional to walmart.com of course).
Keep in mind that walmart.com sells a lot more than WM in Canada or even WM stores in the US for that matter. If you live near the border you can always buy it and choose the ship to store option (it's free and they dont ship to Canada) and then go down a pick it up. I do that for special items.Last edited by bargain_hunter_lola; Fri, Jan 27th, 2012 at 06:05 PM.
