It seems there are problems with coupons being faked:

So, from this point on I would strongly urge all coupon image posters to take extra care to obscure the bar code (if the coupon has one) COMPLETELY. Also obscure part of a picture image so that if somebody wants to try to fix it and make fake coupons, it would be very difficult.

Especially if it's a FPC or a high value BOGO coupon! The coupon con artists will be having a close look at those.

And this is why I have no problem to keep my un-perfect scan (when coupon didn't stay perfectly in place at the time I close my scanner)!!!

I think I will do transparente frame (acetate) with "void - smartcanucks" to put in my scanner window now before scanning!!!

Yes, it certainly makes good sense to cover a good chunk of the coupon, some of the image, the bar code and perhaps some of the writing as well.....that would make it nearly impossible to fake out.

In addition to putting VOIDs on your coupon images, please use descriptive titles on your coupons found threads. This gives the search function a better chance of finding it when someone is searching before they might be doing a post about the same coupon. And don't forget to put tags on your thread too, please.

If you found multiple coupons that you want to post about, then your title could be something like:

Campbell's, Wasa, VH Steamers, Tylenol, Dove Go Fresh found today!!!
