The $ Store is a great place to start getting stuff to make arrangements for gifts.
Here are some pictures of Floral Arrangements I made using mostly $ store stuff including the shiny stuff, some flowers and fancy leaves & ball sprigs which were 2 per card. I Figure they probably cost about $10 or less to make.
I did buy the greens with the white styrafoam balls & the purple & gold flower bunches for $4. The white flowers are from the $ Store. (a bunch would make 2 arrangements or more)
The base is also from the $ Store - they were a terra cotta color - I just pinted them antique white & sponged some gold paint onto the raised design. I also added small round sticky pads to the bottom for a finished look & to prevent scratches.
This is the back to show what the base looks like - start your arrangements using the tallest things at the back working your way forward. The small greens standing up in the back is cheap garland snipped with wire cutters and straightened out.

Great job!
I can't seem to get the knack of doing things like this. What I see in my head and what the actual finished product looks like are two different things LOLI've rec'd over $1500 so far of Amazon.ca gift cards. All for free!
