Union Pacific, The railroad company that Spencer Clawson works for has released a statement regarding his homophobic and racist statement’s that he’s made while on the current season of Big Brother.
Here is their statement in full:

The values represented by Spencer Clawson’s comments during the Big Brother show do not at all align with Union Pacific’s values. Mr. Clawson is on unpaid leave of absence while participating on Big Brother. Union Pacific does not condone his comments.
Union Pacific is acting in accordance with Collective Bargaining Agreement terms regarding Mr. Clawson.

Spencer is now on unpaid leave while on the show. It’s unclear if he was already on unpaid leave or if this started after the comments he made. The company has yet to fire him.

Interesting that they choose to show many of the disturbing comments that had been revealed online and then I guess some what smooth it over by having Howard say that it was wrong (all in 45 seconds).
