Today I learned that no matter how hard I try that with 4 cats going in and out my floors will never be free of muddy paw prints especially in the Spring!!!

Well, the most recent thing I learned is that Winston is a 'she' - I assumed male, duh.
For factual tidbits - Michaelangelo did 'secret' autopsies to learn more about the human body/form.

I knew the Michaelangelo thing but did not know that Winston is a she (although I did always think that the sig was strange for a guy)

yesterday I learned something that works when telling new adopters why they should keep their cats indoors - I showed them the bill for a cat we just took in for deworming and flea treatment and they thought a yearly cost of $200 before vaccines was a little too much when the chances of it getting worms or fleas in their home are close to zero

oh and the other day I learned that you can use your knuckles to work out which months have 31 days!

I learned that it's better to pick up doggie "do-do's" from under the snow when they are still a little frozen - ewwwwww! Darn this "balmy" above 0 weather! Ha! What a pet owner won't do! (or do-do! LOL! - I have to laugh at my own jokes! My dh rarely sees the humour!)
