ahhh thanks lynn so looking forward to a baby boy grandson -they are only having one -its so expensive in Toronto -at least they bought their condo a few years back -yes are dughters are so alike -mine is hoping to work right til aug 31-then baby boy due sept 14 -take care

ahhh thanks for the rep lynn -yes my poor sister-in-law I am sure she was so worried my brother wasn't going to make it from his surgery -in fact he didn't come to and bounce back as well as my dear mother did a few years back -he has diabetes and is a bit larger -I am glad I took her a few meds and probiotics maybe she can get up to see him before he comes home -its lonely in hospitals all day long -have a happy thanksgiving

have a great weekend camping -yes grandkids are a joy and sometimes a pain -we love them dearly thou -it really is hard work watching a almost 2 year old -its amazing how much they are like a sponge and soak up -she knows a lot of the colours and repeats them continually-lol

Aw, such a nice area! Our kids just moved a new park-model RV into a fully serviced lot at Batman's Campground on Manitoulin Island, and we park our trailer across the little street when we join them on some weekends. Unfortunately I'm still not as mobile as I'd like to be, but next year....we'll be there with them every weekend! And yes...it was their idea!

thanks for the rep -I hear you about the perfume -I don't complain to people when i cough -which I haven't lately as I am not in the workforce-but I remember when my son use to use a ton of cologne when he was age 17 ,18 I guess he was trying to impress his future wife -now at 30 he never wears the stuff ( I know cause he gives me a hug whenever he leaves from visiting us)

ahhh thanks for the rep-yep we certainly don't make the money our kids do -and we were happy eating at swiss chalet (it was a special 2 quarter chicken 1 appitizer and a piece of pie -we brought that home ands shared it) lol-all for 19.99
-st.Jacobs was lovely the flea market and Kitchener market too was nice free parking there also -not like in Hamilton they charge us for parking in our market-so I never go -mind you there was an outlet mall in st.Jacobs didn't go in -hubby was hot that day so was I (hot flash on top of hot day)oh well another time

hi lynn yes I have lovely pain pills --tonight I managed to eat a small chicken meat pie mashed potatoes and a small tiny bit of cesar salad -ate that on the one side mind you it was too crunchy-the only good thing is I may lose a bit of weight -lol

Ooooo, dear, CG..I hope you have lovely pain pills to help you along...gosh...have you had to adjust your eating? I imagine you have, but puréed McBurgers can't be that appetizing!

Thanks, Hon....it's been such a perfect summer so far, but I've been mostly in the house, bed to chair, asking my poor hubby/nursemaid to either turn up the air conditioning or to turn it down, I seem to spike temperatures every so often. So it's really quite chilly in the house...

Aw, Hon, it's a tough time of year for anyone who misses a loved one; my Dad passed away on Dec 22nd, in 1990...all his gifts were wrapped, and hubby and I were choosing his casket Christmas eve day...it sure tested our mettle, but we pulled together and all got through it. He was my Christmas partner.....gosh we loved Christmas. To tell you the truth, it's never been the same since, in spite of a wonderful hubby and daughter and her little family. The spark just seemed to go out. I lost my Mom 5 years ago....and my best friend in August of this year to ALS.
I guess if we live long enough that's to be expected......now we're both seeing the world through our grandkids' eyes...and isn't it wonderful?
