Oops - yeah - sorry 'bout that - I did mean Optimum points (asleep on the job as usual ...)

With SDM, it's random who is sent what sometimes - I know other people in my building just got the the flyer with the 500 points coupon. My (very small) chocolate samples came in a boxy looking thing. Chalking this one up to 'random acts of chocolate'

Did you try it yet Rita and if so, is it worth buying? Does it compare to Lindt???

Hey FreebieChick, just tried it (sheesh, the peer pressure around here.... ). There were 2 samples

    1) Semisweet Fine Artisan Chocolate 62% Cocoa
    2) Bittersweet Fine Artisan Chocolate 70% Cocoa

I definitely preferred the Bittersweet. Compared to Lindt? Well, I think this chocolate is for people who eat their chocolate with red wine and such - not for those who like it for the creaminess and sugar content. I like Dark Chocolate, but unless Scharffen Berger also makes some slightly sweeter varieties, I probably would not buy this for myself. Cheers

Wow good job Rita! Makes me wonder what is in my mailbox! Was on MSN with mom, she got a garnier sample, and a Marcelle sample, some sort of cream nearly full size! I don't even remember ordering that for her, anyone else get this? Now I am wondering if perhaps it was from shoppers! Rita, how did your sample indicate it was from shoppers? (Return address, letter?)

Thx Rita! I know huh?! Peer pressure of eating chocolate! Such nerve!, lol. Ok, that's good to know cuz i'm pretty picky with my chocolate, so i won't buy that kind.

The Marcelle your mom got would have been this: http://www.forum.smartcanucks.ca/showthread.php?t=18680

(first 10,000 promotion) - lots of us have been getting this this past week - it's a nice size - 20 ml. That one's from Marcelle directly, not from Shoppers. The chocolate came in a a box slightly larger than the size of a CD (excessively large for the two tiny samples inside... ), with the SDM return address at the top.

Maybe some of this will show up in your mailbox this week!
