That's really true, kaela - one of the reasons I like the show, they are everyday people like I feel I could be friends with. I envy them having the close 'neighbourhood'.
Then for my dose of 'fantasy', I watch Y&R!

my dh got me hooked on this program almost 30 years ago! his mom used to watch and got him hooked. i don't watch episodes on tv so much any more but read ahead on the itv site:

Finally, Fizz finds out about Rosie! Gee, how long were they going to stretch that storyline! Ah, but why did he give up the info so readily? I hope he doesn't do anything to Fizz.
And speaking of Fizz, she has been looking SO pretty lately -

I was hooked on "Corie" for years. Then I left Canada for awhile and couldn't get it in Korea, so I got out of the habit. I'll have to tune into it again. It's so charming and down-to-earth. My French-Canadian mother could never understand the accents!

I started watching with my Mom many years ago and now I watch every Sunday morn. I make a pot of coffee , turn off the phone and settle in on the couch. My oldest son watches now also. Its a family thing!

Oh my Coronation Street, what I would do without it I don't know.

I started watching it a long time ago, my mom and dad are from England so they have been watching it for awhile LOL, I've loved since I was little and I still do!

I usually PVR so I can fast foward threw the commercials because I don't want to wait hahaha, but yesterday when the power went out and I missed it I was so mad! and I missed a good one to.

I'm sure I will watch it on Sunday though lol.

I can't stand Sally, she think's she's god's gift to earth and cheats on Kevin every few years or so, I have a feeling Kevin isn't going to be staying faithful for long.

A Corrie thread! I've been watching this since I had eyes lol I watch it every night much to the displeasure of my hubby - but that's the joys of being married to a Brit lol

Sally has always, always for as long as I remember been my least favourite character! She's a horrid creature, has the morals of a tomcat and has the most irritating voice in the universe!

I used to watch this regularly but have been a bit off it at the mo...sorry.
Mind you, one of the things i always liked about corrie is that you can miss a few episodes, come back, and still figure out what is going on

...or if all else fails i call my mum and she fills me in
