So this doesn't make sense to me, but unfortunately I will never figure out why this all only cost me $3.50. The VIM was $1 each... so it should have been at least $8. I wish I didn't lose my receipt... I think the cashier made an error and now I can't even make things right.
I feel bad, so this isn't a brag it's more of a "huh"... "I want to figure this out".
I left my receipt at the grocery store, accidently, while packing this up.
My total for this was $3.50.
I got 4 packages of paper towels, 8 VIM and 4 cans of frozen juice.
I used the coupons to get free paper towel when you buy 2 VIM products.

You are right. It doesn't make sense.
8 VIM @1 + 4 Free paper towel WUB2 VIM + 4 frozen juice + taxes
==>> if you don't have any other coupons, then you should pay at least $8 for the VIM.
Unless the cashier read the coupon wrong and billed you 4 paper towel and free VIM and forgot to rang the frozen juice.
Don't worry about that. You have a great deal at the end.

I've been in similar situations & here's my theory:
Cashier rings in 8 Vim @ $1 (+tx) = $9.04
plus 4 juice @ $1.09 (guess?!) = $13.40
He/she doesn't ring in the paper towels because they are "FREE", but then deducts the coupons too...so minus 4 @ $2.49 (guess?!) = $3.44 TOTAL
So in essence you got paid $2.49ea to take the paper towels home.
Sound close?
