Rant # 3
Is it just my luck or has the politeness gone WAY down in SC? Again, this goes back to my free coupon thread. Most people who have PMed me for free coupons have been very polite and friendly to me, but some people are just plain rude. I've had a couple people 'demanding' specific coupons. No thank yous, No please. Just a list like "I WANT : blah blah blah blah. MY ADDRESS : XXXXX". I usually PM them back to let them know I am sending it out tomorrow morning..etc and some have even had the gut to suggest I send it out right away so they can use it. I want to yell in their face that "HEY! These are free coupons I've giving. I have a life, I have a 2 year old and a 1 year old. I can't go out just to mail out your free coupons. Also I have already said I am mailing them out the next day..can't you wait??" Then I've also had pretty greedy people who want ALL or MOST of my coupons. Please tell me, what are you going to do with 37 of 1 coupon if you can't stack? AND...I've even seen people trying to trade off coupons they've gotten from me for free. I know there are some honest people who appreciate my efforts and have thanked me like a million times but some people just...really tick me off.

I do agree with this. It annoys the heck out of me when people can't be bothered with a simple thank you or polite words..whether it be a request for a trade or free coupons in your case. I really don't know what to do with such members. They obviously didn't learn much manners back in grade school!

The reason why I got so bothered by this particular trade is that process of going thru with it I was met with rudeness, weird random messages and lots of excuses. But I went ahead with agreeing to trade with her..only to find out later that she also lied to many other members and that I wasn't the only person affected. If she simply agreed to the trade but never fulfilled it, I would have let it go. The fact is that she kept saying she will fulfill it but nothing ever came of it except for more excuses and lies. AND..the thing that really got to me is that she threatened me and other traders with her personal well-being. She said she wanted to kill herself because we were talking about her in this thread.

It is really frustrating that I can't even get a complete thought about because a certain word has been blocked, that and the colour red c'mon censorship on the word red and the f word, not the swear word, the other one.

kaimui - my bf wanted me to tell you not to worry about not getting coupons, it could be worse, you could be wanted for an assassination attempt (he is playing assassin's creed 2, we got it at best buy today.. or yesterday whatever).

Ah, sorry I didn’t read your first post carefully. That member is a whole different situation. I had the luck of being offered trade requests by her on more than one occasion.
This was my range of emoticons upon reading the persistent PM’s -you’d probably understand why ---

This has probably been asked before: Why does this individual not have a single neutral or negative rating considering all the buzz surrounding the bad experiences more than a few members have had? I personally would go ahead with a negative rating; thats just me though.

I think it's the fear of retaliation. And the fact that the members who have probably complained the most DID get their trades like a month later. I, who only complained a couple times got a couple more of PMs in return. And, like what you said before, the trade was never really a 'trade' in the sense that I never lost out on the actual coupons. But...should I leave her a negative just because she failed to do what she promised?

Man I haven't come here to read up in a while, I just wish that when there is a suspision of someone doing something that it be posted, so at least the more people who mention about a person .. others might be holding back.. so if kaimui22 had a problem she should be able to mention the name of who she thought it was so others are aware.. I would want to know so I don't have the same CR** happen to me!

I think if you were promised coupons and never received your end of the trade the trader should get a negative rating.Even if you never posted your end you are still out the possibility of trading those coupons with someone else.Otherwise someone could make promises with everyone, never get a negative rating and scam SCer out of potential trades.

This is the reason why I would never trade with this person because she is not trustworthy and plays games (even with her talk).

I wish people would give a negative trade rating to her as she deserves every negative trade rating she gets. I can't as I cancelled our trade as soon as I got the red and after that all h*** broke lose. Then was constantly hearing other people having the same problems.

I said that she had to prove herself and obviously she is proving herself in the wrong way.

I think that a promise to "holds for another SCer in anticipation of a potential trade doesn't qualify for a negative rating. Life happens and sometimes a person forgets they talked to so and so about maybe trading such and such. I would put the onus on the person with the coupons to trade as to when to say "enough- I will trade these coupons with someone else"

I Pmd an SCer about 2 different trains of hers. She doesn't post rider lists, and I thought that I was on both, just to find out later that I wasn't. I can't give her a negative rating for that. All I can do is hold a seething hatred (kidding) It sucks but so be it.

kaimui22- if the 150 envelopes was an error on save.ca's part you should have your account restored. I would be persistant in getting your account restored. I know some people say "its only coupons" but why should you be punished for doing nothing intentional. It sucks that someone stole your whole "save.ca coupon pad off of the store shelf"per se. Now you don't even have the chance to take a coupon off of the virtual pad like other people do. I personally think that whomever did report you doesn't have much else to do in life, other that target people to create misery for them. I hope they feel better.
