I was taken by sulley1234 too and have a suggestion for people when doing trades.

I recently did an internet search for sulley1234 and found conflicting information...ie: names, addresses, locations, male/female. I think I might do an internet search for the username of the person I am trading with from now on because if someone is spreading mis-information about themselves all over the web then a red would go off in my head and I might have second thoughts before losing my coupon/FPC forever.

Although I have been a member for over a year this was my second trade and it hurt to get stung but I thought this might help others when trading.

the only issue with that, is not everyone always uses the same user name, and on some sites i know i couldn't use my user name as it was already taken

No way. This is a pure through and through scammer who made good on a few trades to gain trust.

I was doing a trade with another member we exchanged addresses and I sent my end yesturday but got a message today saying they want to cancell because they got a better offer and will mail mine back when they get it but there is August expiry in there and with some mail coming slower than others I don't know if I would get it back in time. I asked her to honour her end but then she started saying I have multiple accounts(I only have 1 because I only need 1) messaging her and I am unfair because I have all postive feedback and I dont treat each trade fair- I don't understand what she meant. Please help I don't know where to go from here.

Yang283283 initiated a trade with me and then pulled out after an agreement too. Luckily I hadn't mailed the coupons yet but I did clip over 20 before they backed out.

First, I do want to trade with her but the thing is I can not find that coupon at this moment. I promise her that I will mail back her coupon right after I get her coupon in my mail and I will also include an additional stamp. It is not a "better offer" situation, it is an "unavailable" situation and I am sorry.

Second, yes, I have 2 accounts and I didn't know that I can only have 1 account. So I would like to keep this account. However, I do see other people have multiple accounts, does that mean I can report them and let them close their extra accounts?

Even when selling on eBay, you can withdraw your posting if the item is not available, and thats the best I can do, send her coupons back with extra stamp. Thanks for your understanding guys.

It reads to me like you made the offer and then backed down - stating someone was coming to pick them up? Not very good trading. Luckily they weren't mailed this time. But the other poster who did mail them? I feel for her.

Sally has said time and again that duplicate accounts aren't necessary, and it's quite shady to have them. She's made people aware that they can have only one account - you're not special, you're not exempt from the rules. And if you're going to get your knickers in a twist with the whole "other people do too" excuse, you should know that the admins can see IP addresses and determine if multiple accounts come from the same place. So veiled threats of outing someone else are worthless unless they actually are duplicates.

Furthermore, I doubt the other poster appreciates you putting her personal info up on a public forum. I'd suggest you remove it before the mod does.

First thing first, I modified the post and blocked the address, sorry that I didn't notice that part. I said to Sally already, I would only keep this account and I dont mean that other ppl have multiple then I am okay to have multiple, the thing is I do notice some ppl use multiple accounts to help each other and I would like to report them to keep everything in the right order. And its something I will do later anyway, nothing to do with this.

As I said, I think its still some misunderstanding, I was still thinking about it and I didnt gave her my address yet so I am sure she cant mail it out yet and I would do so once my mind is made. Just ppl could have their own way to make the deal and I did learn my lesson here and I will pay more attention next time.

So were you trading with beccajane123 as well? The impression I had from Sally's reply to her was that you were trading with beccajane and backed out after she mailed her portion. Then another poster responded that you had backed out of a deal with them as well, though - as you claim - you hadn't yet sent your address to her.

If there is confusion, then perhaps that is where it is coming from. If you're backing out of multiple trades, then that is an issue.

for HMV, i didnt give her my add yet, means i am still thinking about it, i would say its backed out coz as a deal, we get the price agreed and address exchanged.

for her, i said many times, i cant find it and i will send her back the coupons with stamp. there was NO other better offer, i was just explaining why i wanted some certain coupons. if u consider this as backed out, i have to say different ppl have different understanding on this.

i am a serious trader and i hate cheaters, and i am surely not one of them.

I just want top make it clear that I mailed my end on Wesnesday and told her that on Wednesday. I got a message Thursday saying she wanted to cancel, maybe I miss understood I thought she said she got a better offer but maybe it was she wanted a better offer either way not a reason to cancel. There was no mention of coupons lost until after I posted here and contacted Sally.
Here is the first message I got from yang283283 about cancelling
