ExpiredHi!
I was on Facebook today and there was an ad that popped up for this website http://www.emilygetsgrants.com/index1.html
It was about how people like you and me could qualify for grants from the Canadian government. I know this particular site is probably too good to be true (at $50.00 a month), but it got me thinking, its it possible to get money back from the government? Where would one start looking??? I would also rather find out for free than pay these sites outrageous fees!!

Does the site say Red Deer, AB for you or is it your hometown? Getting smart are they, hmm...
As a single mom, the government is pretty decent to me.It's not enough to get by on JUST that, but considering all other things going for me, I can't complain at this point.
No advice, as of now, on that website... just be careful!

I have seen this site before and it has many of the same 'testimonials' it did about 6 months ago when I saw it the first time.
I know that there are lots of government grants that help people start their own business, return to school for more education. I would bet that much of what is being advertised on here is from grants people have gotten for things like that.
It is definitally intriguing.

Why would anyone pay $50? For free you can look up the programs you qualify for by yourself if you just google Canadian government. It's laid out by category, not hard to find what you would be qualified for.

I believe this one is a scam, your best bet is to do research on gov't websites. They should have all the information you would need and contact info. I have to go, but if you check on Globals 16:9 program, they did an exose on this.
