hey there-I am wondering about clearlycontacts and how they can have such low prices and how people can possibly pick out glasses online and they fit? does anyone know if clearlycontacts is a good place? I picked a pair for the heck of it but was hard because I have a small head so most are too wide! oh well. I did pick the Ltede 1033 purple and they are a bit wider than my glasses but I am thinking that width should still fit if I would win. I doubt I will but I can hope I win right?

Agree, agree...
Actually, if I were at that McD's, I would have gone up to the mom instead, and tell her that she should do something about disciplining her kid...
I will not tell the kid off... but definitely tell the mom off... Of course, we would likely have ended arguing with her telling me to mind my own business...
I can be mean sometimes... I remember one incident I wasn't very happy with an old man just walking right to the front of the line to wait for the next server, when there was a really long line-up.
Angry as I was, I didn't speak to the old man out of respect for the elderly, but when his children came by, and stood beside him, I told his children off. I told them that it's common courtesy to queue up. I got this feeling that they used their dad to cut the queue!
Do you think that was mean?At the right time, a kind word from a stranger, or encouragement from a friend, can make all the difference in the world. Kindness is free, but it's priceless. ~ Doe Zantamata

I usually don't get into it with other random strangers just bc you never know what someone is capable of.
However if the situation is out of control or ... illegal or something I might step in or call for help. I guess it would depend.
This one woman once at RCSS was flipppppping out on her son, in the line right in front of me and another lady ... she was so close to crossing the line and the lady behind me was starting to panic ... so I just said really loudly to the lady behind me that I have my cell phone and if I need to I will call the police ... and the rude woman took the hint. I felt awful afterwards like oh man if that's how she treats him in PUBLIC imagine what it's like in private ... but she didn't do anything wrong (other than morally) so what can you really do?
