Hi all!

Forgot LOLcat have the contractions completely stopped now? How are you feeling? Hugs hope things are going better for you & the baby as well as your computer!

The contractions haven't stopped, but have slowed to 2-4 an hour, which isn't so bad. I'm feeling ok, except that I am at the 'hard to breathe' stage, which I hate the most. It gets hard to catch my breath a lot.
My computer is actually really broken as of last night.. we just don't have the money to get a new fan installed in it, and it shuts off occasionally on its own. lol.

I started having this shooting pain up my arm (right one) a few months back (it came and went). I just figured it was either from being on the computer all the time or lifting stuff at work. It just been getting worse. It shoots from my wrist up to my elbow. I have this constant pain in my elbow (doesnt matter what I do). My hand gets this weird pins and needles in it and my pointer goes numb. Ive gone to the doc and same old its just heavy lifting stop it. Ive reduced everything but the past few days even when I lift things its like my hand gives out and I drop the item. Just as today I had an empty coffee cup and it just dropped out of my hand (no apparent reason). I think my coworker hate me for the number of things Ive been dropping.

Lately its been getting worse. At first I figured the dropping things was the arthritis but with the arthritis its a different feeling in my hand.

Ricki .. It sounds like carpal tunnel syndrome. Arthritis typically has different symptoms/feelings than what you are describing. I would try one of those carpal tunnel wrist supports, no one at work can get mad at you for wearing it, you can buy them at Shoppers, and I think I have seen them in the pharmacy section of zellers and walmart before.

The elbow pain and shooting pain comes from your body overcompensating for the weakness and pain in your wrist. It is worth a shot. I have to wear one all the time when I do repetitive movements of my one hand, because mine got so bad. I won't do the surgery though, unless it becomes debilitating.

DH and I are going to a wedding this evening. I'm kind of excited because I am getting a much needed break from DS. He's been teething this week, and has been terrible. He's staying with FIL tonight, so he's only going to be around the corner all night

FIL is doing great, too. We found out that the doctor got ALL of the cancer out during his operation, which is fabulous news!! He still has to get monitored, but for now he's safe again. What a relief, considering that prostate cancer is what his father died of just two months ago.

Been laying down a lot here lately haven't been feeling real good but feeling better today. My potassium is low again taking 80 meq a day of the stuff ugh! Got so I couldn't move my feet without them cramping or my calves even my hands were cramping lol CANNOT have that makes it too darn hard to type! Also said I was taking too much vita D. The dr has me taking 1000 (can't remember what it comes in mg iu or what) anyway vita D 1000 twice a day but they checked it due to the severity of my muscle cramps and said I was taking too much of it to cut back to once a day. Either the potassium is helping or that is but have finally quit cramping which is such a relief!!! Been guzzling dole orange-banana juice has quite a bit of potassium in it and since I really don't like banana's get tired of them real quick figured this would help. Just been so tired I come online do my facebook pet society and farm town chores (lol harvesting, planting & plowing on farmtown & this is a game but I do enjoy it. Bathing feeding and petting friends pets for coins and paw points on pet society lol takes me a couple hours a day just to make rounds to see all my pets friends so has kind of become a chore at times too) anyway do that and enter words while I'm at it otherwise I've been laying down when not doing those things. I apologize for not being around but believe me you all are in my thoughts. Now that i'm not so tired and cramping maybe I can get back to the other things I like to do on here SC, enter contests and pogo. Shebby has helped me get my pogo done bless her heart or i'd not be getting much of it. Anyway wanted to let you all know i'm alive and kicking and thinking about ya all. My gramma has very low potassium it can be brutal when it gets really low. You ll be peeing like race horse with the amount you would have to drink. Maybe you can drink my share and tell my doc I drank it LOL

Never thought of that - would explain it all
My wonderful doctor (plus a few others) have said its ust from my arthritis. But surprisely I havent had much problems with it lately but it never was in my wrist or elbow just my fingers, toes, spine, hips & knees. They all told me to take Advil or Tylenol when starts to hurt (yet my spec told me not to take either ). Its just been getting worse lately. I went back to the doc a few months back (i couldnt even move my arm) he told me to wrap it with those tensor bandaids (yet all it did was cut off my circulation). Ill have to go hunt down those support thinngys.
