***UPDATED JULY 26th***
After a talk with my DM we decided it was best to split the basket donations and give 3 to the church and 3 to my DM & DF's seniors club.I did not want to overwhelm the church auction with baskets because I was not sure how they would go over.So DF took a basket to the monthly seniors card game and sold tickets on it making $53!!! Still 2 baskets left for the seniors to sell tickets on in the coming months and I am sure they will make just as much as the first. The church auction was yesterday and the 3 basket took in $93!!! That should equal a donation of aprox.$250!!!That is a donation that I would never of been able to give before joining SC!!Thanks Again All You Wonderfull SCer's for your great post and trades because without you I could never do this!!
Sorry for sounding corny but it is true.I joined SC in November just around the time our second DD was born and I now look at things differently.Money is tighter without the second income. You SC'er have showed me how easy it is to save the money. It is now my turn to give back. Our local church has a auction every July to help raise the money needed to do the good things they do.I have made up some baskets with all the great deals you have told me about. Thanks so much because without you all I would not only be able to give back to my community but I would not be able to be a stay at home mom.

AGREE! AGREE! AGREE! I joined about the same time you did and I remember saying to my DH I hope I have enough extras to give to freinds, family and shelters at holiday time. Never mind waiting until holiday time I had enough to start giving away 2 months after I joined. It is AMAZING! I find it's like once you join you actually see things differently like you are wearing some kind of super deal seeking glasses and the rest of the world is wearing blinders.
What a great gift to your community.

Awesome baskets. I love that we help each other out to find the deals. We are a good family. Take care my fellow SC's.
