Thread: Canada Post really slow lately?

Has anyone noticed that Canada Post is being really slow? According to their service standard, between two major cities in Ontario and BC it usually takes 4 business days, and right now 9 business days have passed and I still haven't received my stuff. Is it common for everyone or it's just my bad luck?

I've noticed it too, my save.ca stuff usually comes really quick...but it took like 2 weeks this time. I thought it was save.ca, but it was likely Canada Post.

today,
i got some "GoCoupons" and "Save.ca" that i ordered earlier this week
that was pretty FAST for me....
but also received stuff that i should have receive way much earlierThank's to DH who told me the grumpy Garfield was not at all representative of who i am

It's taken me almost 2 weeks to receive anything from Ontario, it's been like this ever since mid September for me

Canada post is SOOOOO random sometimes. My dad sent me 2 letters in the mail, same time, same size, same everything... I got them DAYS APART. Very weird to me.

Yes!!!!! My Mum sent my husband a birthday card ( from Australia) it arrived on his birthday... october 5th.... and she sent me a package the day after she sent the card.... and I didnt get it until 2 bloody days ago!!!! we thought it got lost!! or sent back!

I find it's hit or miss with Canada Post. I had a friend mail 2 seperate pieces of Mail from Toronto to where I live (1 hr away) and one I received in 2 days, the other in 7 *shrugs*

It's pathetic. We order from Hong Kong and will receive something sooner than something arriving from BC.
It doesn't make sense. Everything comes into Vancouver and has to clear customs.

I had a conversation with our carrier today and he said that mail is starting to get busier with Christmas already... our mail is now coming 20 mins later if not longer, and things are taking longer than normal to be delivered as well. So, it just seems like that time of year *already*.

canada post takes FOREVER!! we got mail forwarding ( BIG MISTAKE!)i still had some mail coming to our old address which is about 1 1/2 hour drive... so we had to go pick it up, called canada post 3 times in 2 months and finally the mail stopped coming there, WELL all forwarded mail arrives ATLEAST 9 days later ( from the day it arrives at our old address)...
it was a total WASTE of money, might as well have called and do a change of address with all the companies we deal with

Im finding it hit and miss. Gosh I had a parcel mailed out of South Carolina, and one out of Toronto (im 2.5hours from there) on Monday........
and I got the South Carolina one today and no sight of the Toronto one yet!
WTF Eh!
