My "The Kitties are going to Party" Brag

This was defenitely one of those "right time...right place" deals. I had to work late last night but decided to stop at Safeway on the way home at 1030pm. I was walking around coupon shopping and decided to check out the Reduce to Clear section. I look and do not see anything good. I walk away and turn around because I did not look on the side shelves....Wait...what do I see...no it cannot be! There were 10 packs of Friskies Party Mix and they were all 0.99 and the kicker was they do not expire until June 2010.

I was so excited that I grabbed them all in one scoop and must have had a crazed look in my eye because the manager walked by and asked if I needed a hand...maybe I looked like this guy

I pulled out my coupons and headed to the cash. I gave her the stack of coupons and she put them all through. I did not realize until I got home that the coupon actually said Buy2 get $1.00 off.

So for all of this:



The bill looked like this:
Grocery 0.99*10
Coupon 1.00*10

The only thing I paid was 1.19 in taxes. It was a savings of at least 21.10. The cashier said wow what an amazing savings.

These are all going straight to the Animal Rescue Shelters as soon as I can build up a stash. What an amazing find!

Oh wow I can just see your face. I don't know about you but when I find a "steal of a deal" I sort of look around to see if anyone else has noticed then I grab them in disbelief sort of like last night with the Pantene. LOL

Wow my little kitty JC well maybe he isn't that little would just love those. I'll have to keep my out for those too. Love those happen upon deals. Like my trip to Zellers last night.
