This is such a funny thread. I find it funny though that I remember when I was a kid and we used to get a cow butchered ourselves and even sometimes do the butchering ourselves, when my mom would be making hamburger patties or meatballs we were allowed to eat the raw meat. (Just a small taste.) I would NEVER do it now. But I did and it was darn good. I don't exactly remember what part of the cow my dad used when he ground it up into hamburger but I'll have to ask him next time if it was the "bum" part or not...lolololol....

When my mom did have to buy ground beef we weren't allowed to eat it raw!

the only difference i find is that its a real pain to get outta the package.

I use my toothpaste method, pressing and starting a roll at one end LOL
