At the home depot a while back , I bought a 40 piece ratchet set for 14.99...
doesn't sound that amazing, BUT,
this ratchet set is a HUSKY , black chrome, (top end) set
with a 1/4(i believe) inch ratchet (pear shaped one with the button release)
to put into comparison, the 69 piece set is 99.97 (same black chrome set)
This tool kit has a lifetime warranty !
I also got for 9.99, a husky metal tool box (standard one tray tool box)
and inside was a smaller ratchet size set of 30 pieces.

How they can afford to sell them so cheap is because HD gets points from husky depending on how much they sell. These points are thne used to order promotional items which they can sell very cheap. Hence, these are special buys and not every day items.
What blew me away the most was an ALL black chrome husky ratchet set (with other bits, etc) , i think 278 pieces, for 69.99!!!!!!!!!
The hardware associates were in disbelief! (they had no price tag on them, so had to look em up)

Sweet deals.
I am guessing you are Hardware associate. I worked in Hardware for 2 1/2 yrs here and saw some awesome sales at times like a 2 pack of crecent adjustable wrenches for $2.
Maybe I should poke around the HD here and see what I find on clearance. I am always up for more tools.
