Boxing day heads up--Looking for something special??

So, its boxing day again (not until 26th December though)...many store will offer pre- and post-boxing day sale. Looking for any special deal these year?

For me, I am looking for a SLR Camera. Would like to have some advice on brand/price. Specially interested (until now) about Canon Rebel series.

I want the Samsung R255 laptop, reg. 799.99, I really could care less if I go to Best Buy to get it on sale (if it does), I woud have way too much anxiety if I went. $800 sounds way better than a panic attack.

If you're going for a DSLR go with Nikon I say. I love my Nikon D80, I've had it for a few years now, never a problem. It's fairly expensive regular, I could probably get one now for say 900. The new D90 shoots HD video but if you're only in the market for the camera aspect, I'd go with a Nikon D90 which is mid-range. It's a really awesome camera.
