haha yeah i generally hate meat (haven't eaten it in 9 years) but the only things that has ever made me want some for a second are the only things you guys mentioned- bacon and steak. glad to know i'm not the only one who sometimes gets those weird cravings!

luckily this month i'm just craving the tofurkey we're going to be having! my mom usually makes an eggplant casserole as well that has some soaked raw cashews in it. gives it a nice 'meaty-ness' lol

    happy holidays!

Got the mag at a local newspaper shop(Reflexion). It usually gets the BBC veggie Christmas mag and i think another BBC veggie special one mid way through the year... The other mag was new to me - i stuck with the BBC magazine cos it had more recipes!
Its a little expensive at $10 but in all honesty i don't mind paying occasionally for a taste of home
This has been my British week what with the magazine and i (finally) found somewhere that sells British products

You know, thinking about it - I may have seen the BBC magazine at Chapters in Ottawa - as well as a speciality magazine store again in Ottawa.
