I've seen a few posted but would love to see more. Post your pictures here with what you have filled them with. I love seeing all of these and need some ideas. I'm attempting my first basket this week but need some inspiration.

Great idea for a thread. I know that looking at other people's baskets gives me inspiration when making my own.

Surely there are more pictures out there? Doesn't have to be recent.

Here's 3 inexpensive gift baskets I made for 3 relatives for Christmas.
*The weaved baskets were from Dollarama, the clear wrap was from Sam's Club on clearance. The flashing buttons are from Dollarama too.
The first basket is for my aunt. Inside is a nice pair of designer oven mitts I got for 2.00, a tall fortune cookie scented candle in an asian inspired glass I got for 8.00 both from The Old Forum Liquidators. I also put in a 3 disc DVD set by Food Networks Paula Dean that I found at Ollies Liquidators in USA for 5.99. And finally I put in a $40.00 gift certificate for T&T super markets(a popular asian grocerystore).
The second basket is for my teenage nephew. Inside is a Gillette gel deoderant stick, shaving cream, Fusion razor, a bag of eggies chocolates and a 30.00 futureshop gift certificate. I got all the Gillette products very cheap using coupons over the past few months.
The third basket is for my cousin, it's the same as my aunt's gift except the DVD set is different and there's no gift cert.Last edited by Cheapomaghee; Wed, Dec 2nd, 2009 at 01:35 PM.

I've already posted these, but I'll put them here if we're trying to get a whole bunch of gift basket pics in one thread.

I'm in the process of making a birthday gift basket for my sister-in-law and will definitely post a picture when it's finished. I think I'd better make it soon because I keep getting more stuff the longer I leave it!
Today at Zellers I was looking at the cellophane etc. and picked up a "creative wraps" cellophane bag that apparently shrinks down when you use a blow dryer on it. It was $1.47 - 10% SPC so I thought it was worth a try since I couldn't find anything like this at Dollarama.Last edited by BargainHuntingTeacher; Wed, Dec 2nd, 2009 at 03:50 PM.

I'm so inspired by all your great baskets. My cousin in law (is that a term) is having a baby in the new year so I'm going to start gathering stuff for her.
