SC's forum colours?

the colours on SC's forum right now don't really match... red with blue and the colours are not very comfortable to the eye.

Any designers or fine artists here have suggestions on improving the colours?

the red is a bit too strong on the eyes

but the black seems fine but i'm just not used to it

I liked the blue better, things stood out more! And there is lots of blue on the site, such as the the buttons.

That's funny... I'm used to the blue also. but I really do like the black.
I think it looks good, as it matches the text most of us write in anyhow. It blends much better to have all the text mainly the same color.

You're right about the red text. It was to much on the eyes. It looks good as the highlight color.

BUT.... this is your forum. You like the blue? Make it blue... hahaha

What about when you hover over the links they are red instead of blue. And it might be a pain to change, but behind each post the background is a light blue, what if that was grey or light red or even a cream to match the cream in the logo? And maybe colour coordinating buttons?
