Ahh, Saturday!

I've been flying around all day! But it's good.

I rolled out of bed around 7:30, hopped into the shower and onto the bus to go shopping. Atlantic Superstore had stuffed Butterball turkeys on sale for $1.39 a pound, and a $3 coupon in the flyer. Plus, I was hoping to find a roadside lobster seller!

Got to the shops, no lobster sellers. So I went to Superstore, searched for a turkey - none! It's 8 a.m. and they're out? I went to the meat department to ask, and the girl told me that she has one of the sale priced ones, it was hiding in a pile of other ones, but she warned me it was small. Well, there's only three adults and a three year old eating it, so small worked fine! $15 for a turkey, minus a $3 coupon. I normally make my own stuffing, wonder how this will be?

Got out of there, saw that the lobster fishermen had arrived. Paid $42.50 for a half dozen good-sized lobsters just taken out of the water off Yarmouth at 4 a.m. this morning. The best part? Only my mom and I even like to eat them! We'll eat a few of them for dinner, save some of the meat for chowder next week, and mostly make hogs of ourselves. My son is more interested in taking them for rides in his dump truck.

Raced home, left the bags for my mom to unpack, then went with DH and DS to a DND kids event, a place filled with those big inflatable bouncy things. My son bounced himself silly, we all had snow cones and cotton candy.

So it's only 2 p.m. and my day has already been full! Next on the agenda, we need to get this kid to nap so that we can work on our home project - changing a lock!

Zonny...I'm exhausted just after reading your post!!! But it sounds like you had a wonderful day...aren't those just little miracles,though?
I've been wrapping for several hours and just poured a nice glass of wine..and still wrapping...Since every day is Saturday for us, we can go out anytime...
