Saw Something Strange on Gillette Gamer

I was at Walmart yesterday and on the inside of the Fusion Power Gamer there was a label and it said; "If you find this product at a retailer other than Walmart please call 1-800......... "

The Gamer looked like all the other ones but maybe it was exclusive to WM and there are other versions.

I have never seen anything like that, have you guys?

I was in the beauty section at my WM and on some of the Nair and Biore there were stickers saying the exact things. Maybe other smaller retailers buy from them and sell at their store?

I haven't seen that before, it's interesting. Sure, it must have been put out discounted to WM, and they are concerned about resellers.

That's interesting...I saw a show not long ago that discussed mass-shoplifting of products that were sold at steep discounts to retail prices at "mom and pop" or dollar store type places. Apparently it's a multi-billion dollar a year black market. I forget what the show was, but likely Marketplace or W5 or something similar.

That could be the reason. WM is big enough to insist that their vendors specially package their items for them.

yea i can see more and more products doing this, this is one reason when stuff comes on really big discount, like campbells soups 50c, they like to limit the amount you can purchase, because they are worried someone might make some money.. and its just annoying to people who just like to stock up.
