im not sure where to post thins but can someone give me the run down on hbc points?
i have been price matching almost everything i can to zellers to use my SPC card to get the 10% off and so i have collected quite a few hbc points... i realize that the merchandise is going to be discontinued and it will just be gift cards you can get, but i dont know the value of the points.... how many points do you earn per dollar?
how many point actually gets you gift cards? is the program worht collecting the points?

any HBC conisours out there ? (spelling??)

I personally think HBC points are definitely worth collecting because you can collect many points with large purchases. Or they just accumulate with small purchases.

80,000 hbc points are equal to $10....$5 for 40,000 hbc points

I hadn't heard they were stopping the merchandise. What about being able to transfer them over to AirMiles?

I do like that you can now just tell the cashier how many points you want to redeem when you buy larger items and don't have to get a gift card.
