One of my neighbours had told me back in September to buy backpacks at Staples because they have a 2 year warranty. I went and picked one up beginning of sept for my son. I stapled the 2 year warranty tag that had been attached to the bag to the receipt. The other day the zipper busted on the backpack and the netting to hold his juice container was ripped so I brought it back. The customer service desk didn't think I could return it but I said I knew someone else who did so she called the manager. The manager said no trouble at all it has a 2 year warranty. Now I have another backpack with a 2 year warranty. The way my son goes through them I might not have to buy another one again.

Wow that's great! I bought a Brooks backpack at Zellers for $15 and there was a 2 year warranty. I just threw it on the floor in my room (but I was not going to throw it out and nothing goes under my bed). My room was really messy one day so my mom was cleaning it while I was at school without me knowing like she does a lot, and she threw the warranty out in the garbage. (The paper that said there was a warranty with it and my mom doesn't understand english that well) I saw it in the garbage and yelled at her and I didn't want to take it out because I'm a germ freek. Then a few weeks later the zipper broke and the bag was already tearing apart. It made school hard for me and it was terrible. My mom and I got into a few short arguments because of this also. I didn't even know where my recipt was. Then on Boxing Day I went to Bentley and got a gorgeous Adidas bag for $32 (which is pretty expensive) but it's silky, sexy, and santabulous.

If you want a good quality backpack that will last years without needing to be replaced, the ones at MEC are awesome, or pretty much the ones sold at any outdoor sporting store.

The BEST backpacks are from L.L.Bean. They're pricey, but go on sale and are worth every penny. They will never wear out! You can also get their name embroidered on them, they have reflective tape on the back, and are practically indestructible. After going through a couple of backpacks a year per kid, I bought one for each of my kids about 5 years ago. They've been through the wars, and all they need is to be thrown into the wash to look like new. Buy one of these babies, and you'll never have to buy another backpack again!

Usually, My sister bought Double Shoulder backpacks for her little son. That backpacks is Great for school, outdoors traveling, hiking, camping, etc. Kids like new object, so my sister it's unnecessary to buy expensive backpacks for her son. I also agree with her opinion. Don't know if author you agree this.

I don't agree or disagree, as I've never heard or tried of this brand. All I know is that the LL Bean backpacks I bought 5 years ago have stood up to the beating my kids give them and still look like new.

Also, if you look for sales on their website, the price can be comparable to the ones you linked to above!
