I never once recommended a different browser, I recommended something completely different for you to have a look at which is quoted below.

Since you continue to be adamant that this has been going on since the start of 2012, I am starting to believe that it is a problem local to you even more than before.

Since this is happening in multiple browsers for you, and you are the only one (so far) that has posted about having this issue regularly, I have to wonder if it's a firewall issue (either hardware or software). This is not uncommon with a router firewall that is not properly configured, or when using a internet security software locally on your computer, or through your ISP (zone alarm or Norton for example). Also, it could be an IPv6 issue, or even a DNS Prefetch issue.

There are spammers on the forum who just post inane comments that make no sense...they haven't included a spammy sig, yet, but they are just biding their time (increasing post counts)...I read about this on another forum...these spammers are paid to post on certain sites. Does the site operator of SC want us to report these "potential" spammers? Or, are the extra membership numbers encouraged? I know that I get ticked off when I come across one of these posts...they add nothing to the conversation.
