I have not come across anything overly offensive that would make me think about reporting it to the mods, some things may not agree with everyone’s taste but that is impossible to achieve anywhere.

SC is composed of a large diversity of members so you are going to see people with different opinions, thoughts, sense of humour. Ignoring those threads might be an option for you.

I do agree with you Andi about the negative criticism going around, and I personally would put this thread into that category.

Sorry that you are feeling that way Mia Personally it takes alot to offend me anyways, however if I see a thread topic or photos that "don't do it for me", I just keep moving along. I think the one thing that we must remember on here is that there are ALOT of people from MANY walks of life and those people have different personalities and tastes. It's hard to "police" things when there is such a diversity because what one group of people find funny, the next might not, what one group finds offensive again the next might not.

I think as long as no one is pushing boundaries of posting full frontal nudity or a post that's littered in language, again it's just "buyer beware".

Since there are those that may be offended at certain things, perhaps when someone is creating a thread that may have a photo or tirade that could be viewed offensive, maybe the Poster of that thread could put a disclaimer in the title so that people are at least warned before going into it? There has to be a compromise available.

And DH666, as for the thread you are speaking of and the picture posted, personally I find it artistic. She is a beautiful woman, having said that I can see how someone might find it offensive. That is however the beauty of diversity isn't it?

Everyone is different, and have different tolerance levels. I'm sure for the 1% of content out there that is deemed unacceptable to you, there is the other 99% in SC that is agreeable and acceptable to you.

Why not focus on the 99% positive, and let the 1% go?

i think they are very selective about what they will allow on SC.
it's supposed to be nothing lewd, crude or rude. that is overlooked sometimes.
if you have a frank way of talking, then you're outright threatened in a thread by a controlling mod.

I have never seen anything that has offended me enough to want to report it etc. There is so many members on here not all of us will have the same sense of humor or taste. Its just like watching tv and seeing something offensive, you stop watching, same goes for here just don't go back to that thread.

I think that this matter should be addressed on that thread then rather than creating an separate one. Titled as it is there are bound attract the attention of people and they will post their opinions.

i think that this thread as it`s reason to beDH666, said that i was attacking HIM...in a way it was kinda obvious that his thread contribute to my speaking but sorry for him he was the last one i noticed....Wy do i need to change my profile....sorry i don;t get that one....or you mean that i should change my avatar....no, never and i`m still up for a cup of tea with averyone....though i think no one whould dare as i told my thoughts>

He;s saying that you should turn off pictures in your profile so that you don't see pictures while viewing the forums, not sayings that's what you want to do but that's what he's saying. This is also part of the problem, when someone says something that you don't understand you take it the wrong way and get defensive about it.
