Some forums have additional forums for subscribers, I am a member of one.

We have a paid lounge that is a little more private and mostly very long term where people discuss family issues and plan lets cheer up the forums thread.


It doesn't take away from what the forum offers, all the original forums are still open to all members, it is just a hidden forum. When they first introduced games to the forum, the paid members got a week of access before it was released to the general forum - but I think that was more about us beta testing than a perk lol

I'm aware that some fora have private members only areas....it's just that I have never had to pay extra for that priviledge, simply being a member of good standing is sufient to grant access to the inner-sanctum.


And I've been a admin doing beta-testing before..as well as being a poster granted the previews of all the nice new toys...

I sometimes have problems logging into the site. I get as far as the main page (blog) - when I click on Forum, it tells me it's uploading and after awhile I get a msg saying "oops smartcanucks seems to be having problems". It's happened to me three times this week (I use IE). I at first thought it was my computer, so I tried other websites, and didn't have an issue with them. Anyone else experience a similar problem?

Coupon deals, freebies, and store deals. I agree with the above posters. I think opinion and personal pieces should be posted only in the forums. In the past, there have been some ridiculous personal views shared in the blog that I feel undermines SC reputation.

It's a response very similar to others yet it hasn't been approve?! 7 others have posted since I've commented. I just find it really weird. Others have even asked for no posts from certain bloggers. So I don't understand why my comment isn't approved.
