I stopped using internet explorer years ago, there is much better browsers out there, like mozilla firefox. I would recommend using a different browser, sorry not sure what that code means.

Try downloading Internet Explorer version 8. It may be you have an error or some problem with other things on your system. Downloading and installing version 8 may clear some up. Do you have an Anti-virus program? If you don't, it may be a virus problem.

Other people swear by Firefox.

Apple has a Mac/PC browser called Safari.

Those are the main ones. If your computer is really going on the fritz, there may be little that will help.
Good luck.

Thanks for the suggestions guys, I just downloaded Firefox, it doesn't seem to be as touchy, but it still crashes if I try accessing any Microsoft pages (hotmail).

Okay...now Firefox is crashing too. Ugh. I guess this is the end for my poor old laptop. It must be really screwed. The strange thing is though, nothing turns up on my anti-virus scans or system mechanic. I give up!

Try starting it in safe mode, do you know how to do that?
You have to hit one of the F__ keys when your computer is restarting. It should prompt you with the exact F__ key you need to use.
Then enter safemode with networking/internet. Try that.
