hey guys. i need you help again. im sorry. im totally spamming this thread with my posts. :O
kay. so heres the deal
i want to try auctioning off gift cards now that i know what its about and how to do it.
do higher value gift cards sell better? ie. would a $20 gift card sell more than 4 times better than a $5 GC?
do amazon.COM GC sell better than .CA? because ive noticed that there seem to be a lot of americans than canadians on there.
would you guys be interested if i posted some canadian gift cards (e-codes)?
how much credits does a $10 amazon.COM/.CA GC usually auction off at?
do amazon GC auction off better or something else like foot locker or lowes?
thanks for all the help!

I would recommend starting out with low amounts of gift cards/e-codes till you build up some ratings.
Typically a $1 card = 450 - 500 listia credits
$5 card usually goes for about 2200 but it could 2000 - 3000
Higher value cards $20 often go for close to the same ratio.
Amazon.com seems to get a good one to use ... if you don't have the codes already and you're going to buy them, than you could say "either .com or .ca".

Until you've earned your trusted sellers badges, I wouldn't list any really big ticket items. The higher your feedback, the more likely people will be to bid.
.com amazon cards seem to be doing very well lately, as well as ebay gift cards.
If you can list a "get it now" price, you can control what the cards sell for. Although there are no real "reserves" on Listia, you can make your own by auctioning off a lower value gift card, and offering a higher value if the GIN is used. That way you can decide how many credits you want to earn from the higher value card. Remember that Listia takes 10% of selling price if a GIN is used to purchase your item.
I've only been listing gift cards lately (amazon.com), and if you want to check out my profile, you can see what they've all been selling for:

Boy, does Giving-Small ever know her numbers/auctions.
My auction for a $5.00 Amazon.ca e-card just ended last night and it went for 2222 credits.
Whooo Hooo, and with that auction I moved into Trusted Seller!!!
Maybe I'll try an Amazon.com e-card next time.
I'm at it again! Two new auctions.

does anyone know how long disputes usually take? i had to file one because I won a gift card code and the person is refusing to give me the code and ecpects me to expect a bunch of coke codes instead of a $5.00 gift card and let them keep over 2000 credits for it. it had only been two weeks since i filed the dispute, but I need credits lol and was hoping i would get mine back soon.

yes it was like day 3. the person was mad saying that that was way to soon to file a dispute that I am supposed to wait 7 days or something but they had already told me three different stories about why I haven't received the code yet and I felt like i was getting the run around and then as soon as I filed a dispute they said that they for sure weren't giving me the code and that if i just cancelled the dispute they would give me coke codes, but I bid over 2000 credits for a 5.00 gift code and that is what I should get or get my credits back. I even told them i would gladly cancel the dispute and even forgo leaving a neg. feedback if they would just give me the code, but I guess they would rather get a negative feedback. I hope i get my credits back soon though

Ugh! It's a pain when they respond to the dispute and drag things out. It should take about a week from their decision to respond to the dispute for you to get your credits back. You can also contact listia through their help feature to try to speed things up.
The problem is it gets stuck in a queue where a moderator has to review both sides of the argument as soon as the seller decides to respond (don't worry, they'll side with you).Want another way to earn free amazon.ca or amazon.com gift certificates??
