Great ideas here!
Besides Etsy, I'd do what they suggested...take a few to florists, small shops, join a local artists' group to find out what they do...and make sure you have nice tags on them saying what they are, handmade, and the materials used...(you can get business cards made up free from VistaPrint! Just make it more like an information card, punch a hole and thread it onto the baskets!)...I'd try wholesale to local businesses, or on consignment...Ebay for sure, too!
As for pricing, do a google search for "hand made baskets" to see what prices they're fetching. I bet you'd be surprised at how much they can go for!
Good luck...and btw...they're gorgeous!!!

for a basket the size i am making (8in round) would probably set u back a good $300+ depending on how intricate it was done, so i can only guess what a laundry basket would go for. my sister does have some bigger square baskets that are a very basic weave, but i am sure they would still go for a pretty penny.

Oh those are great looking and yes, perfect for the table with yummy fruits! Would it be possible to set up something in cafes or resturants? You could maybe have 2-3 with plastic fruits or flowers ( seasonal stuff) with a tag or small business card listing ur name/ phone/price so clients can contact you..just shooting out thoughts here...hope something works out.

the inner habour in victoria is a great place to sell, all the tourists pass by there and you would probably be the only one selling baskets, most people tend to sell jewlery, art, cartoon portraits ect, I believe you would need to get a permit from city hall to sell there. There is also the sunday market during the summer that is on government street around china town, that would be a great place to sell too. The baskets look very beautiful, good luck!!
