To all those beet pickle-ers...I am jealous! I had exactly enough beets to make 3 500mL and 2 250mL jars of pickles...and none for freezing.
And the biggest beet I had wasn't even tennis ball sized. *sniff* So I will be hoarding them! I might give one jar to my Memere, as she is the pickled beet queen and lives in a seniors lodge now...but that's it!

Patty, I just don't understand. I'm smart, educated, why don't I understand this?
Do you already have instructions?

You mean the acronym(Tax Free Savings Account)? Or the fact that this is basic banking and you can't understand how a bank "accounts manager" can do this? LOL

Ok now I get the acronym - but yeah, I'm a humanities kinda gal, anything beyond basic bookkeeping is beyond me. And I'm not blonde.

all this talk about beets is making me wish I had planted some!! we were planning on it but never did get around to it.
They probably wouldn't have grown well-the weather has been odd this year and stuff hasn't grown well.

talking about stuff growing-our apples were so tiny this year! yikes! The strawberry patch is ok but we have been watering those. The corn...ah the corn-I should post a pic how horrible it turned out! The corn is ready but only half the cobs got kernels that actually grew! The rest of it just didn't grow. Lack of water and the way we planted them I suppose. We finally had a zucchini though! It wasn't very big but we got one! Should have been watering that stuff too. Not that we didn't get alot of rain it seemed but it wasn't alot I guess each time? The sun would come out and dry everything up so fast.... sorry-I guess this is my rant for the morning!

i'm sure you would have done a better job than my account manager. I have just regular basic bookkeeping too.
Actually I can tell you the exact problem with this bank. They have an employee rating system. The manager can periodically rate the employee but on the other hand the employees may also rate the manager. So in a nutshell everything is hunky dory at this bank and no one makes mistakes. Right.
I know this because the former manager asked me to write my complaint the the head office because his hands were basicaly tied but if the complaint came from a client it would have more power. Can you imagine he was TELLING me to go over his head!
We live more and more in a society of denial, incompetance, apathy and lack of leadership in the workplace.
