Beautiful moon last night - saw it when I woke up around 3:30 to ahem, use the facilities (thanks ice cream and lactose intolerance) - and the power was out. Yes, being shut in a little bathroom with a little candle is not an interesting thing to do. When I went back to the bedroom, opened the blind in hope of a bit of a breeze (no power, so no fan), and there was this gorgeous moon shining on through the room.... just beautiful.

I would be getting ready to go to Edmonton for an appt with my specialist if it hadn't been cancelled! Still frustrated about that. grrr. Oh well all I can do is hope I get in sooner than a month from now...

my back is in a ton of pain today-maybe pulling those big weeds yesterday wasn't such a good idea.

one last thought-it rained like most of the night so I didn't get any more chances to see the moon and Jupiter. There was one point I think that I woke up and didn't hear rain and thought I would get up and check but didn't want the rest of the family to wake up and see someone walking around outside and get worried there was an intruder! Also i peaked out my window and there was still clouds so it wouldn't have made sense to go out.

Just found out cause of our power outage last night - two arseholes stole a truck, did some joyriding, then sent the empty truck in gear down a main street and down into the river, crashing into power transformers. Cripes! I hope they catch them and make them pay for the damage, etc.
