Whatever makes you feel better. Some people can't sleep if they nap, but others are refreshed. Personally, once I go down for a nap, I'm out for the rest of the night. But think of all the Grandpas who go down for their daily nap after lunch. If it wasn't good for you, how'd they live for 500 years?

I'd say it depends...
Usually I only take naps when I'm really mad and just want to avoid everyone, and they just make me feel like crap afterward... But my Dad naps ALL THE TIME.. and he seems pretty content.Don't you know they're lying when they're telling you it's been all right?

If you feel you need a nap you should take one and you should feel very much better afterwards, more energy and refreshed.
Be a little kinder than necessary, remember everyone is fighting their own battles.

I take one almost every day, whether it's just dosing for a bit or I end up sleeping for 4 hours. I usually feel better afterwards but sometimes I feel worse. I don't sleep well at night either way.

I love to have a little nap whenever I can get one. Recharges the old battery. I usually feel better.

Me too. And then I can't sleep when I try to go to bed a night. So I'm in pain, tired, but not sleepy.
I get very irritable if someone tries to wake me up from a nap or in the morning. I don't fall sleep well, so I don't wake up easily. Really, the rule is don't wake Kate up... lol

I've heard that taking a 30 minute nap or something quite short, makes you feel a little refreshed. And taking a nap that's a couple of hours long, just makes you more tired. It's all about the length of your nap!

I keep my naps short, less than 30 minutes. Otherwise, I wouldn't have a good night's sleep.
