A special brag for "MANDY" (decided to change the title to give more credit to MANDY)

This is not a typical brag. Maybe most of you already read brags about the $6.99 Gillette Fusion Power Razor that is on sale at RCSS and where you can get this free by using the $4.00 coup and the $3.00 in-store coupon. Anyway, I have 4 coups for $4 so maybe you'll understand why I feel so excited about this (and as a newbie I want to feel the hype of getting free products). Before proceeding to the cashier, I went first to the customer service to verify the use of manufacturer and in-store coupons. I'm thinking to save time incase the cashier said no, then I can just say I talked to the customer service and she ok it. I was dumbfounded when the CS said NO, you can't use the coupons together. Hhhhmmm, I was thinking this is not right. My fellow SCers said that, RCSS accepts manufacturer and in-store coupons together So, I walked in the store and think of what to do next. Then all of a sudden, I saw this formal-looking guy who was on the phone talking to someone and who looks so busy and the most important part I noticed is that he has the RCSS store I.D. I followed the guy around, then asked nicely if he knows if I can use the manufacturer and in-store coup together. He looked at the coupons and he said YES! This is just me again, I just want to be sure incase the cashier or the customer service will say no again. I asked the guy if I can get his name so I can tell the cashier he said yes. "He said tell them you talked to the MANAGER! You think I'm dumb but seriously I didn't hear it when he say MANAGER, I thought he said his name is Mandy. So to make sure, I said your name is Mandy? He looked at me ( I saw a little smirked) and said again, you talked to the MANAGER!

This is the end of my story/brag. I'm sure you'll know the ending, after all we are all SMART CANUCKS!!!

Okay...that is too funny! I am still waiting to hear from Loblaws about the same issue. I contacted them by e-mail so I can have something in writing when I do my grocery run on the weekend. It seems that each cashier has their own coupon policy, so it is best that I have something "official" on hand just in case! Still laughing!!!!

LOL so funny! The whole Mandy/Manager thing must have been kind of embarressing... Yah I find that my CS @ RCSS makes weird rules too! Once I accidently got them in trouble,the store Manager is a total nasty... and when I saw her yelling at a employee in the shampoo dept I told her that they were refusing to give me SCOP and she totally yelled at them and now the entire staff in that area is like scared of me (score!) so I usually get what I want now!

That's a cute story :D Some of the RCSS coupons do specify that they cannot be used with other coupons though.

You can use the $4.00 coup from save.ca and get the Gillette Fusion Razor for 2.99 and then use the coup for FREE Gillette Body Wash, Hair Care or Fusion Shave Gel when you buy a Fusion Razor. I hop this helps! BTW, you can check the RCSS flyer for this week.
