    My kids and I met the dog that I posted about earlier. So far so good. He didn't make strange with us at all and licked our faces when we sat on the floor with him. So he loved the kids and didn't bother my allergies. The next question is, are we ready for a new baby? My kids are still pretty needy and this little guy is going to need a lot of supervision especially at first, and lots of training. I have no idea how many bad habits have to be trained out of him. My hubby's saying go for it but I'll be the one doing most of the work.

    I've never gotten a dog from a shelter before. My first was from a pet store and the second from a breeder. Both were puppies just old enough to leave there mama and both lived for 15 years. I am worried that I don't know what I'm getting into taking on a stray adult. I've never owned a male dog either. This little guy was neutered on friday and still he's in good spirits (even though he peed like a girl)

    Just got a quick call from my friend. Her cousin is still fighting, so there is a tiny glimmer of hope he'll make it (no clue on how much damage there will be, one bridge at a time). THANK YOU for all your prayers, clearly they are helping. If anyone has a few more prayers to spare, I'd appreciate them.

    I found a bit of info in the Ottawa paper, they caught the thug.
