Paul Mccartney concert tonight !!!!!!!!!!

I soooooo wish that I was going! Have an awesome time!

Why do such things happen.. this we will never know or have an answer for.
My thoughts, prayers and heartfelt wishes to this woman and her family.

Bad news today about a friend. She is in critical care after she had a massive pulmonary embolism. She's fighting for her life but is stable & mostly unconscious & on a ventilator. She had to be revived 3 times.

Her sister just emailed that she is progressing well in some important ways- she needs less supplemental oxygen and the ventilator rate has been decreased, both of which are good signs she is making progress. Tonight Karen developed a fever and after a chest X-Ray it was determined she has pneumonia which isn't uncommon for all that has been happening to her. She is being treated for that with antibiotics. Her ER doctor came up to check her progress. It's the first time he had ever been to the ICU to follow up personally and see his patient- it was the most "extraordinary save" he had ever performed.

I just 'might' be at the Ex that day. For the past several years, the kids and I have gone there for my birthday.

I'm very sorry to hear about some of our members' difficulties, but

I can do nought but express my sincere condolences and best wishes.

Hopefully tomorrow will be a better, brighter day in all respects!

Good afternoon. I've been waiting by the phone for the last two hours for a callback about when would be a good time to go see an dog about an hour away. It's not looking good at this point about meeting today. And my hubby was very hopeful about this one too.

Right on Loocie! I love the ex, I'll be there most days its on! Hope there's some good bands playing, there usually are at the Molson tent and the Bandshell! Yea! Its starting on the 20th this year instead of the 15th Only bad thing about the ex is it signals an end to the summer, oh noooooo!

You'll be there most days that it's on?? Do you have a discount? I was just looking at the prices. Such an expensive things to bring two kids. Am starting to wonder if I should just get a Wonderland season pass and go a couple times with the kids instead.

Thanks to everyone for their wonderful thoughts and prayers for my friend Karen both here and on facebook. Sorry I can't reply to all the posts, pm's and reps.

I received an update that Karen had another fever spike last night but seems to have stabilized. She had another fever spike last night but everything else seems to have remained the same. She still hasn't had an awake period yet, but her sister said that she was reading her all the posts that folks from around the world have been sending support and love and Karen showed some emotion.
