Been busy on the phone with my friend. Didn't plan on going tonight, since I wasn't sure whether she needed me for moral support (she still might, so I'm sticking close to the phone). Whoever is going, a detailed report of the fun times, please.

Looks like I missed some trivia on here. Instead of a night out, who wants to join me in a night of playing Trivial Pursuit? Qster against Qster? My specialty is TV theme songs (how goofy is that? ).

According to a certain newscaster (who shall remain nameless since he said yuck to the idea), this year's food craze at county fairs is the doughnut burger - a beef patty sandwiched between 2 Krispy Kreme doughnuts.

I suppose it's good for those who lead a fast paced life & want to have their dessert & dinner at the same time.

In high school I memorized Pi to 300 decimal places but all it got me was a quarter when two of us wrote it on the blackboard to 100 places to the disbelief of our math teacher!

Wow - Instead of a detention I got to write out the 7 x table about 200 times one evening at home. But it was only up to 12. To this day, if I have to multiply 7 by 8, I get the answer by counting on my fingers as I rhyme off: 7, 14, 21, 28, 35, 42, 49, 56 .....

300 DECIMALS - Whatever for?

Just a Job was for The Insiders (detective type show with reporters)

Holding Out for a Hero was for Cover Up (detective show with Jennifer O'Neal & Jon Erik Hexum, poor young man who died in a freak accident with a gun that shot blanks)

Don't think I'd do well at that game .... Even given the answers I don't know those shows. BUT, I do recall Grace Under Fire being one of the funniest shows that had come along in a long while when it first debuted.
