I have a little bit of crab meat stuck in my teeth. It was on top of a nice 8 oz medium-rare sirloin I had for lunch at the Keg. I can't work it out and it is annoying me. Can I get a little sympathy?

Oh, boo-hoo! He gets some crab in his teeth while enjoying steak and crab at the Keg while I sit alone with no where to go on my birthday.

All I can say is to make sure they are legitimate, ethical breeders. Check out their credentials and papers carefully. Ask to see the parents and where the cats are kept.

A lot of people will get a boy and a girl and then throw them together regardless of health or breeding. Inbreeding is not unusual. Be suspicious if you see any kind of large shed or other building on their property. Ontario is notorious for digusting, dirty, obscenely abusive breeding mills. It's not just puppies that get churned out by starving, weak, flea bitten mothers.

Sorry to be a bit of a downer but I've been in the animal rescue community for most of my life and have met very few ethical breeders.

My personal motto is "Don't buy while shelter animals die!"

That's because the breeding is mostly done for the love of money not for the love of the breed or animal.

They did the same thing last year. I was at a friend's house when he got called and they said he was one of three being called but then somehow got cutoff. They didn't call back and I was trying to call them on my cell phone but couldn't get through. Another friend was called was told the same thing but went on to win $1750 stashed but could have won $10,000.00. Boy does he ever get teased over that because he considers himself a big gambler. I've been told that they start with three numbers so that there isn't any delay but stop and go with the first one the can contact while going down that list of three. I think PSELLS is correct in saying that you are one of three so that you are fully excited when you get on the radio.

Sorry if I'm being argumentive when Joanne called me she said "you are going to be cash grab in ten minutes" she didn't say anything about being one of three chosen or being on a short list. The first time I heard of this short list thing is when Shaman won his trip.

That's not being argumentative. Just two different observations. My friend just happened to asked "Is this for real. I'm going to be on the radio". Then they reply that he was on a call list of three which to me doesn't exactly mean that they have called the other people yet or are going too.
