And to all those who "borrow" words without acknowledging that the words they are posting to a competitors site were actually found AND posted to this site and then justify it by saying that those who post here are doing so to share these words.
YES, they are sharing these words - with this community, with our own SC members. If you can't be courtieous enough to declare that you didn't really find the words yourself maybe you shouldn't be rude enough to come to this site and brag about.
There are many members who work hard to find these words and who are generous enough to share them with the rest of us and for that I am very, very gratefull.
But to those of you who think it is just fine to repost these words to another site as if you put in any effort to look for the words yourself is shameful. Without acknowledging that the words are "borrowed" you are stealing someone else's efforts. And then you come back here to brag about your actions??? SHAME ON YOU!!!!!

Regarding the whole borrowing/posting issue, I've had that happen in the past (info from another thread on this forum). It didn't bother me that someone else was posting my words, although I found it highly amusing that they couldn't be bothered stripping the extraneous info about my evening's activities. lol

Having said that, I can see where some would be hurt by such actions. Think of it this way. Two coworkers are having a conversation and Coworker 1 comes up with a way to streamline some daily activities which would be good for the company. Coworker 2 just happens to mention that info to their boss & gets all the kudos. Does that make sense?

At any rate, I'm grateful to anyone who posts words, however they are found & however many times they are repeated.

If anyone's annoyed by my post, just pm my Quincy cat & he'll be only too happy to smack me (he's annoyed that I took all the liver treats to my friend's place & left him to starve ).

Yep, I had to keep trying and on the tenth try, it worked.

Another time, I had to clear browser history, cookies to sign in.

I would not recommend requesting a new password unless it's Monday thru Friday when P&P is in office. That's because the system will tell you that a new password was sent yet one doesn't always get the email with the password. Yet, if you email P&P at [email protected], they should reset it for you and email you a new password if you don't get the email with new password.

Good luck, I am sorry you are having issues with log in.

Did it actually say U.S. only somewhere (a newsletter I missed?), or are you just assuming?

I ordered it yesterday as a gift (it sold out within an hour, I think), thinking that even if they rejected it and swallowed my points, it would be no big loss at 15 points. Instead I actually got a shipping notice later that afternoon, so I guess they decided to take the hit on their error.

Yes, I got a newsletter on Thursday with the title "A quadruple weekly deal!" It said that the four books shown in the newsletter were 15000 points each. The books were the Tori Spelling book as well as three other romance novels.
And of course there was the dreaded line... "This deal will end on April 18, 2012. *While supplies last. Limit one per account. Open to U.S. residents only".

That's great if you get your book! I guess I'll have to be quicker on the draw next time, and maybe sneak in and get it early

star84 - thanks for the sympathies. DH got the hard drive transferred over. It was running so hot it was causing it to not work, but he pointed a fan at it while he transferred and it all worked great I'm very happy it wasn't more serious.

You're very lucky for sure! Glad your DH was able to save all your hard drive contents! And actually hearing about your troubles has now reminded me to make sure I have everything backed up!
