Zoodle, the same thing happened to me. And then I couldn't even find the picture i'd used in my sig at first. Just one of the joys of the new SC changes .
To edit/change your Signature look at the top of the page where it has the headings, Notifications, My Profile, Settings. Click on Settings. Then scroll down the page a bit and on the left side there are headings in red. Under the heading My Settings, click on the fourth one down, Edit Signature. This brings you to the page where you can change your sig. And if you scroll down the page you can upload a new photo if yours is missing.
