Finally got snow tires and all thanks to Daddy. I couldnt gt them until next pay and it was looking good. Until beginning of this week we got hit big and I mean big. I had nice dull summers on and I was all ovr the place just getting in the drivway. I was coming hoome this morning from work and a car coming the other way hitt ice and was coming for me. Well will dull tires doesnt help so I went for the ditch so this guy wouldnt hit me. Lucky it was Saturday so my Dad had to come pull me out anyways. Luckily I wasnt going fast I was sliding down the hill anyways LOL.

Andit ... I went crazy, lots of deals for DVDs and Kitchen Aid attachments.

We only get 3 antennae stations out here so tv viewing is pretty sad and ... dh has discovered he loves my homemade pasta !

I had to finally shut off the computer because I just couldnt stop shopping blew a few hundred bucks! (smack me!!!! lol)

I think online shopping is the WTG! Being in the country I don't have to drive an hour to get to the city, I don't have to walk thru icy slippery parking lots, I don't have to fight the crowds (which is pretty wild when Im slightly claustrophic (SP??) ), I can comparison shop and research products to my hearts content.

I still like going into the store to "touch" the products ... but Im up front with the sales people, tell them Im not buying, Im looking and I will go home and do more research. If I like the sales persons service (and I had agreat 1 yesterday, I asked if she worked commission (she did) and I will do my research and come back to her for the sale! Great work and service (above and beyond the call of duty ... so to speak) should always be rewarded! and she was extremely helpful! I am impressed and if you know me , the salesperson has to be darn fantastic to get a pat on the back from me! lol!!!

Still debating whether to take the short one to a doggy festival. He`s being a brat & trying to beat up Lily dog, so I fear for the other dogs`safety. We`ll see. At any rate, Winter Woofstock should be fun.



Kekes, I would love a KA mixer, it would make baking doggy biscuits so much easier. But I can't justify the cost or the space (the bad part of living in a teeny studio).

I do the same as you - if I find good sales service, I go back to them for everything...once I've done all the research. I find it`s rare that another place would have much better prices & it`s worth not saving the few cents to give business to ones who deserve it.

wish I had the KA years ago, I didn't "buy" it, I saved lots and lots of airmiles to get! Man I make that baby work and does she save me lots of time and labor !

IF anyone has the money and knows a younger woman who loves to bake and cook, this is the "cat meow" !
I have already decided to buy one for my nephew and bride (if he ever gets married! lol) He loves to cook and still lives at home!
