Sounds like you are having a good time this holiday, Andit. I am jealous of a XMas market right outside your door. Yum, mini quiche...hope you and your neighbour had as much fun making them as it will be to eat them. How is your friend progressing with her recovery?

We didn't finish the mini quiche (got all the ingredients, but got sidetracked). We did manage to decorate the building for the holidays (the running joke is that my neighbour who's had 2 hip replacements & me with my double transplants are the only ones capable of doing the hard work ).

Come to Toronto, I'll give you a personal tour of the market. I'll even use my discount to buy some fancy chocolates at SOMA (apparently, I'm important enough to have special priveleges, good thing I have a modicum of willpower ). If I can find where the short one hid the camera cable, I'll post some pics of this year's market.

My friend who had surgery is doing very well. She's running around all over town (I didn't think anyone was as bad as me in terms of ignoring doctor's orders ). She still gets tired easily, but it's a small price to pay for getting her independence back.


I just want to thank everyone again for all the prayers to get my friend back up & running (mostly). I really really appreciate the amazing community of wonderful people I am lucky enough to be a part of. Thank you to all.

No Noodge, I did not find an ornament yet, I had major grocery shopping to do today to get ready for my BF coming home on Sunday. It will be 8 weeks this Friday since he left for work... CANNOT wait! Our 3 yr old DS is missing his daddy so bad, its going to be so great to have him home again!! And sadly the only Christmas store around, is in a town in the opposite direction of the city with the grocery store. LOL So hopefully I'll make it out there this weekend to find one! When I do I'll be sure to post a picture!
Thank you for the info Ricki911! Cant wait to start... and I want to see your Christmas pics too! Totally understand your frusteration in trying to find a place that allows cats! My saving grace was my wonderful previous landlord that gave my cat a good referance! lol (Who knew you needed a referance for yourself, and your pets right?)
