Thank you for sharing words manzervite and cityguy.
Glad to hear the pics went well, scrapbookingoasis.
Good luck on the NY resolutions, truckerofbc! I hope you reach your goals.
Ah, more soothing end of the day images, thank you star84.
Thank you for Garfield chuckle, julyprincess.
Love reading the kitty toy stories. I bought a small pet store of toys when I was a foster kitty mom yet they all seemed to enjoy my socked feet most of all
Thank you for sharing new prizes, Pearls.
Gratitude to everyone who checks in with a 'hi', thanx or more. Always a joy to read everyone's updates.Last edited by Noodge; Tue, Feb 7th, 2012 at 07:33 PM.

Thanks for all the new words!!
Just got back from running a few errands. Now to do the to do list, and a few tasks online for work. Ive have to apply to a few other jobs I honestly need something.
Im thinking of starting a small on the side cash business of animal sitting, and walking. Ive had a few people offer while they are on vacation.
My cats have boxes of toys and loads of climbers. They loose them under the furniture but they make sure you know as they try to push themselves under it to get it.

I had a horrible evening!! I have to share it.
I went out for a walk after dinner, before my 7pm class (I'm taking management classes from home) and as I was walking i heard a car brake and ''something'' scream/Squeek... There was a couple stopped and staring at the floor and noone seemed to panic so I kept walking. I went around the block (2-3 mins) and turned around because I kept thinking maybe something had gotten hit...
So I walk back and saw something on the ground, not moving... from far i could make out a shape of a cat and it was still on the street, very close to the cars passing by. I ran towards it, stopped the coming car, picked up the poor cat and took it to the side of the road. I was too late... the poor cat was already dead. I knocked at the 2 houses in front of which the cat had gotten hit, neither was the owner.. i asked the second lady to call the city for the poor cat to be picked up before the morning (there is a school near our houses). I said goodbye to the cat, said a prayer, pet it for a few seconds and cried my way home... I am still so sad.Last edited by ING_rep; Tue, Feb 7th, 2012 at 08:41 PM.

Hope everyone is doing well.
Sorry I've been absent - I'm in the middle of my annual tune-up. They found a weird blip on my stress test (just once in my life I'd like to be semi-normal ), so I had an unscheduled visit with the heart specialist today (I really like her, even if I get exhausted listening to her adventure stories - she likes to climb mountains for fun ). The blip on my test may or may not mean anything. The only way to know is to have an angiogram (& depending on the results, something even more exciting & invasive). On the plus side, it will be a new adventure, since I've never had one before. & I do love getting my money's worth out of OHIP.
Hoping I`ll get my life back on schedule in March (I keep putting things off to the next month, maybe my user name these days should be procrastinate ).
Critters & I are doing the usual. On the subject of toys, Quincy cat LOVES (or should I say LIVES) to steal whatever toy Lily dog is playing with. One day Quincy was being particularly annoying, so poor Lily decided to take all her toys to her crate, the whole big toybox full. Poor dog barely had enough room for her tail in her bed, it was so full. But Quincy cat couldn`t touch them, so it was worth it to her. Of course, I was evil & made her put the toys away the next morning. Oh & Quincy got a lecture about being a thief.
